Friday was an amazing day. We drove to the East Sea. It was beautiful. We had the best sushi I've ever had (even though it was still moving) with an incredible view. I actually tried everything and liked most of it.After riding the banana boat we went to a Buddhist Temple on a mountain. GREAT PHOTOS, WHEN WE WERE IN CHINA WE WENT TO AN ISLAND NAME LANTAU. WE PICKED OUT FISH IN A TANK, THEY REMOVED IT AND GAVE IT TO A CHEF AND THAN BROUGHT IT TO OUR TABLE. I FIND IT AMAZING THAT A NAZI SIGN IS REALLY A SIGN OF PEACE FOR BUDDHA. HAVE A SAFE TRIP HOME, LOVE, AUNT DONNA
Alicia, What a wonderful Grand Finale - The beach, the water, the temple art (loved the charming toilet sign), the MAJESTIC MOUNTAINS, whewwww!!! I just could not stop staring at the landscape and architecture blends, mountains (all kinds of images in the rocks on that one rocky mountain side), it's beautiful beyond description. Without these pictures, I could never have imagined it. You must be thrilled to have made this journey.
The sushi was fascinating. I could almost taste that delicious looking white fish on the rice noodles, and you sure look like a pro with those chopsticks:)
You'll probably be back home by the time you read this... I think you said you cross the international dateline and add a day. So, you leave today, Tuesday, and arrive in Kansas on Thursday evening at 10 p.m. Yippee-I-Ohh-Ki-Aaa !!! It'll probably take some adjusting to get back into western culture - or not :) See you soon!
